Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert is doing well after undergoing surgery Thursday related to recent cancer treatments.
His wife, Chaz Ebert, reports that Roger is now resting comfortably.
The couple released the following statement: “Chaz and Roger Ebert are grateful to everyone for the continued prayers and concern. The surgery went well, and the Eberts look forward to giving you more good news about Roger’s recovery in days to come.”
